JOB DETAILS:

BACKGROUND

We are seeking a Procurement Officer to manage procurement activities in our mining project, Chunya, Mbeya.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Source suppliers and manage contracts
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations
• Coordinate logistics and inventory management
• Maintain procurement records and documentation
• Support project teams with procurement needs
• Monitor supplier performance and quality
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluation
• Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers
• Manage procurement budget and costs
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Do any other task relevant to the work as directed by the supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree/Diploma in Procurement/Logistics or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in procurement
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and practices

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: associate degree
