ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and results-oriented Procurement Officer to manage procurement activities for our Non-Mining Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and compliant sourcing of goods and services, while maintaining strong supplier relationships, proper procurement controls, and timely delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
CPSP, CIPS, or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage.
2-3 years' relevant procurement experience, preferably in a corporate, trading, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of procurement, supplier management, and compliance procedures.
ERP experience, with SAP knowledge highly preferred.
Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

- Manage daily procurement activities and purchase requisitions.

- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate supplier records and procurement documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, costs, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with Finance, Stores, Operations, and other departments and Monitor outstanding orders and follow up with suppliers.
- Support contract management, supplier evaluations, and audits.
- Prepare procurement reports and identify cost-saving opportunities.
