A reputable construction company is seeking a qualified Procurement Engineer (Mechanical) to support project delivery through effective sourcing, vendor management, and contract execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of mechanical materials and equipment for construction projects
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers across Africa
• Lead vendor negotiations and contract management processes
• Ensure timely delivery of materials in line with project schedules
• Maintain compliance with procurement policies and quality standards
• Collaborate with project and engineering teams on technical specifications

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry
• Proven experience working on construction projects in Africa (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of mechanical materials and procurement processes
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills
