Job Summary:
The Procurement Clerk handles the fundamental clerical and data entry tasks within the procurement department, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry: Enter and update data in the procurement system, including supplier information, purchase orders, and delivery records.
  • Filing & Organization: Maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems for all procurement documents.
  • Document Preparation: Assist in preparing basic procurement documents, such as delivery notes and simple purchase orders.
  • Communication: Answer phones, take messages, and handle routine correspondence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a clerk or in a similar administrative role.
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
