About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be the crucial technical bridge between our sales representatives and our clients, designing and proposing innovative ICT solutions that solve complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities (ICT Equipment & Software):
- Technical Solution Design: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and design compelling technical solutions involving hardware, software, and services.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct engaging and tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for both ICT equipment and software platforms.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present detailed technical proposals, Bill of Materials (BOM), and architecture diagrams.
- Technical Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert on our portfolio of ICT solutions, including (but not limited to): ICT Equipment: Servers, Storage, Networking (Switches, Routers, Firewalls), and Security Appliances. Software: Operating Systems, Virtualization Platforms, Cloud Solutions, and Enterprise Applications. Networking: In-depth expertise in LAN and WAN technologies, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, and access points.
- RFP/RFI Response: Lead the technical response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Client Liaison: Build strong technical relationships with clients, addressing their questions and concerns to build confidence in our solutions.
- Attending Online sales partner’s training and certifications
- Timely submission of Weekly, monthly, quarterly and Yearly reports.
- An understanding of business metrics and key sales KPI.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Managing Director to support the strategic goals of the company.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a Pre-sale, technical sales, or systems engineering role within the ICT industry.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, and storage.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
