Job Overview:

The Porter plays a key role in creating a positive first impression by assisting guests with their luggage and providing helpful information. You are an ambassador for the hotel, offering a welcoming and helpful presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage to and from their rooms.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local area.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles (if applicable).
• Deliver items (e.g., towels, amenities) to guest rooms as requested.
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of the lobby, entrance, and porte-cochère.
• Assist the front desk with minor errands and guest requests.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Porter, Bellperson, or in a similar guest-facing role within hospitality.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Physically fit to handle luggage and stand for extended periods.
• Good local knowledge to assist guests with directions and recommendations.

Level of Education: high school
