Niajiri Platform Ltd is recruiting a Partner Manager (Government & Enterprise Channel Direction) to support Tanzania’s government and enterprise ICT channel ecosystem.

Job description

This position is a core role in Tanzania’s government and enterprise channel ecosystem.

The Partner Manager will be responsible for developing and operating the local ICT partner system, collaborating with partners to implement procurement projects in industries such as government, finance, and education, and driving the growth of ICT products and solutions in Tanzania.

The role also involves building a long-term, mutually beneficial local partner ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

  • Expand and maintain relationships with leading ICT system integrators and solution providers.
  • Establish a tiered and graded partner collaboration system and deepen strategic relationships with core partners.
  • Develop partner enablement and development plans.
  • Work with internal technical and sales teams to provide partners with:
    • Product training
    • Solution support
    • Project bidding assistance
  • Enhance partners’ sales and delivery capabilities.
  • Conduct regular partner project benchmarking.
  • Coordinate the resolution of commercial, delivery, and compliance issues arising from partnerships.
  • Ensure the health and long-term sustainability of partner relationships.
  • Apply knowledge of Tanzania’s bidding rules and government procurement processes when supporting projects.
  • Collaborate with partners throughout all project stages, including:
    • Project initiation
    • Bidding
    • Evaluation
    • Contract negotiation
  • Work with partners to identify project opportunities in government, education, finance, and other sectors.
  • Match suitable products and solutions to identified opportunities.
  • Formulate project strategies and improve bid success rates.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop sales strategies based on ICT products and solutions, including:
    • Data communication
    • Storage
    • Virtualization
  • Achieve annual sales targets.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Have at least five years of experience in the ICT industry.
  • Have at least three years of experience in channel partner management or sales to government and enterprise customers.
  • Have established and stable connections with:
    • Leading ICT companies
    • Core system integrators
    • Government service providers
  • Possess the ability to quickly leverage partner resources to drive business.
  • Be familiar with Tanzania’s government procurement processes, Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) bidding regulations, and government project operating models.
  • Have successfully led or participated in the implementation of government procurement projects.
  • Have a solid foundation in ICT technology.
  • Be familiar with mainstream ICT products and government and enterprise solutions, including:
    • Servers
    • Storage
    • Networking
    • Data centres
  • Be able to independently deliver basic solution presentations and value propositions.
