Responsibilities

  • Provide routine preventive animal healthcare, including vaccination, deworming, and disease surveillance.
  • Assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of common animal diseases.
  • Support reproductive health activities, including heat detection, artificial insemination support, pregnancy monitoring, and calving assistance.
  • Monitor calf health and implement appropriate calf care and disease prevention practices.
  • Promote and monitor milking hygiene and udder health to support milk quality and prevent mastitis.
  • Collect, label, and process laboratory samples and assist with basic laboratory testing and reporting.
  • Educate livestock owners and farm workers on proper animal husbandry, disease prevention.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Animal Health, Animal Production, Veterinary Sciences, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in dairy farming & livestock production, veterinary practice, or animal healthcare services.
  • Ability to maintain accurate treatment records & prepare reports.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, & problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge of preventive animal healthcare & vaccination.
