SEKOU-TOURE REGIONAL REFERRAL HOSPITAL

Position: Orthopaedic Technologist (03 Positions)

A. Qualifications Required for Direct Application

• Applicants must have completed Form Four education or above.
• Must possess a Diploma in Orthopaedic Technology from a government-recognized institution.

B. Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct assessment of patients requiring prostheses or assistive devices for correction or support (orthoses).
• Take measurements and design prostheses or assistive devices according to patient needs.
• Manufacture, fit, adjust, and maintain prostheses and assistive devices.
• Provide training to patients on the use, care, and safety of the devices provided.
• Monitor patient progress and make device adjustments when necessary.
• Collaborate with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other rehabilitation specialists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of services provided.
• Participate in health education, research, and quality improvement of prosthetics and assistive device services.
• Adhere to professional ethics and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and relevant professional councils.
• Perform other professional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Applicants must possess a Form Four or Form Six certificate.

Applicants must hold a Diploma certificate in the relevant field.

Attach a copy of the National Identification Card (NIDA).
