Job Opportunity: Optometrist

CNS Group is seeking a qualified, experienced, and patient-focused Optometrist to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality eye care services while maintaining excellent clinical and customer service standards.

Job Summary

The role involves performing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosis, and technical optical tasks such as lens cutting and fitting to ensure the best vision care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
  • Diagnose refractive errors and visual conditions.
  • Perform optical lens cutting, edging, fitting, and dispensing.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Advise patients on frames, lenses, and appropriate eye care solutions.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and patient care.
  • Maintain high clinical, hygiene, and equipment standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Optometry is essential.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience as an Optometrist.
  • Technical Skills: Proven ability in eye diagnosis, lens cutting, and fitting.
  • Language: Must be able to speak, read, and communicate in English fluently.
