We are inviting qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the position of Operations Officer (3 Positions).
The Operations Officer will support the smooth day-to-day operation of systems, transactions and services, including transaction monitoring, reconciliation, incident management, reporting, partner support and operational process improvement.
Responsibilities or duties
- Monitor system availability, transaction status and operational alerts.
- Investigate failed, pending and timed-out transactions.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate technical incidents where necessary.
- Conduct daily reconciliations with banks, mobile money operators, merchants and payment partners.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports.
- Support partners and internal teams on operational and transaction-related issues.
- Participate in system integrations, testing, UAT and go-live activities.
- Maintain SOPs and operational documentation.
- Monitor operational KPIs and ensure compliance with agreed SLAs.
Qualifications or requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance & Banking, Telecommunications or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in operations, fintech, payment services, telecommunications or banking.
- Experience with mobile money, digital financial services, e-wallets or payment systems will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills.
- Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work in shifts when required.
