Job Purpose

The Operation Transformation Analyst will be responsible for delivering process improvement projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and providing insights that support business stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with teams and cross-functional business partners to execute and deliver process improvement projects.
  • Apply quantitative methods to support management decision-making.
  • Track customer incidents, investigate issues, identify root causes, and determine opportunities to improve service quality and overall customer experience.
  • Monitor processes to ensure appropriate controls are in place and adhered to.
  • Identify areas for improvement and drive implementation of changes.
  • Develop and prepare materials for process improvement events.
  • Coordinate with management and provide guidance on the use of process improvement tools.
  • Recommend appropriate process re-engineering methodologies.
  • Provide leadership to business and support-function teams, enabling them to improve cycle times and eliminate defects.
  • Work with Heads, Zonal Managers, and Senior Managers to implement appropriate re-engineering practices and align initiatives with business objectives.
  • Challenge existing processes and recommend improvements in cost, revenue, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proven track record in driving strategic and operational activities.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyse large volumes of data and derive meaningful insights.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of initiating and leading change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Visio and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence and metric-reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Project Management certification is an added advantage.
  • Certified Business Analyst qualification is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience in organisational change.
  • Experience in business process re-engineering within the financial services or banking industry.
