Coretax Africa is seeking qualified, motivated, and experienced professionals to join its team.
Position Summary
The Office Administrator will support the efficient day-to-day operation of the Coretax Africa office.
The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors while providing administrative, procurement, and logistical support to maintain a professional, organised, and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and stakeholders.
- Provide a professional and welcoming reception experience.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Direct enquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception and office environment.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings, visitor arrangements, and office schedules.
- Maintain accurate physical and electronic filing systems.
- Monitor office supplies and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Support internal meetings, workshops, and staff activities.
- Source and liaise with suppliers for office goods and services.
- Obtain quotations and support procurement processes.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate concerns to the People & Talent Director.
- Ensure procurement is cost-effective and compliant with company policies.
- Coordinate staff travel, accommodation, and transport arrangements.
- Support onboarding logistics for new employees.
- Prepare workspaces and administrative materials for new staff.
- Assist with company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of office assets, inventory, and resource utilisation.
- Support administrative controls that promote efficient use of company resources.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned in support of the business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resource, Procurement and Logistics, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in office administration, front office management, or a similar role.
- Strong administrative, organisational, and coordination skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Proactive, resourceful, and team-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
