The Nursing Officer is a mid-level management position responsible for coordinating nursing services, ensuring quality patient care, and providing clinical leadership to the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration: Allocate duties to nursing staff and ensure adequate shift coverage.

Quality Assurance: Monitor nursing practices to ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.

Training: Mentor junior staff and conduct in-service training on new protocols.

Clinical Oversight: Review complex patient cases and assist with difficult clinical procedures.

Inventory: Manage ward supplies, drugs, and equipment requests.

Patient Advocacy: Act as a liaison between patients, doctors, and the hospital administration.

Audit: Participate in clinical audits and risk management activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).

Valid practicing license.

Minimum of 3 years post-internship experience.

Skills:

Leadership and delegation abilities.

Advanced clinical assessment skills.

Conflict resolution and problem-solving.
