Nursing Officer II – 15 Posts (Volunteer)
Reports to: Senior Nursing Officer / Ward In-Charge
Job Purpose: To provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in assigned wards/clinics and assist in the implementation of hospital health programs.
Responsibilities or duties,
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions for patients.
- Administering medication and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Maintaining accurate patient medical records and reports.
- Participating in health education and promotion activities for patients and families.
- Ensuring infection prevention and control protocols are strictly followed.
- Supervising and guiding support staff and student nurses during clinical rotations.
Qualifications or requirements
- Diploma in Community Health Nursing or Kenya Registered Nursing (KRN/KRCHN) from a recognized institution.
- Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) with a valid practice license.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
