Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide nursing services in communities, hospitals, and other healthcare settings.
- Collect essential health statistics.
- Supervise nurses under their authority.
- Provide home-based patient care.
- Offer counseling services.
- Prepare work plans for nursing services.
- Provide preventive and reproductive health services.
- Educate patients and communities on health issues.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor according to qualifications, experience, and skills.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a Government-recognized university.
- Completion of internship training.
- A valid practicing license.
- Registration with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- At least two (2) years of experience in the Operating Theatre or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Applications may be written in either Swahili or English.
