Job Purpose

To provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care by assessing patients, administering treatments, supporting clinical procedures, and collaborating with healthcare teams to promote positive health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with professional standards and facility policies.
• Assess patients’ conditions and monitor vital signs and treatment responses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and patient management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatment, and health management.
• Provide emotional support and promote patient comfort and dignity.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
• Participate in emergency response and patient safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to improve quality of care.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.

• Additional certifications relevant to the area of practice will be an added advantage.
