Background

This is a recruitment for Nurse II positions at the Kilwa District Council.

Responsibilities

• Performing nursing duties to serve clients in the community, hospitals, and all areas where health services are provided.
• Supervising and coordinating all work of health attendants in their work area.
• Collecting statistics and preparing performance reports.
• Providing services to patients at home.
• Providing counseling.
• Providing preventive and family planning services.
• Providing maternity and child health services.
• Educating patients and the community about their health problems.
• Following up on the maintenance of working tools in their work areas.
• Performing other duties as assigned by their superior related to their education, experience, and skills.

Qualifications

• A two-year Nursing certificate from a Government-recognized institution.
• Enrolled with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: professional certificate
