Job Summary
The Nurse Assistant supports nursing staff in delivering quality patient care by assisting with daily patient needs, maintaining a clean and safe healthcare environment, and contributing to patients' comfort and well-being. The role works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse while adhering to professional standards and healthcare policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Support nurses during patient care procedures and treatments.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff.
- Assist in maintaining patient hygiene and comfort.
- Prepare patient rooms and ensure cleanliness of clinical areas.
- Transport patients safely within the healthcare facility.
- Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and dignity at all times.
- Ensure infection prevention and control procedures are followed.
- Support stock management of nursing supplies and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising nurse.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Nursing Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, or a related healthcare field.
- Valid practicing license or certification where applicable.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
