Job Overview:
To perform complex assembly tasks across multiple workstations, provide guidance to junior assemblers, and ensure the production line meets output and quality targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble products or components at various stations along the production line, following detailed work instructions and blueprints.
- Rotate between different assembly tasks as required, demonstrating versatility.
- Assist in training and mentoring new or junior assembly interns and workers.
- Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and suggest process improvements.
- Perform quality checks on own work and that of adjacent stations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Achieve daily production targets while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- VETA Certificate (in relevant trade e.g., Mechanics, Electrical, Welding) or Diploma in Engineering.
- 1-2 years of proven experience in a product assembly environment.
- Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of materials.
- Proficiency with a wide array of hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures.
- Good leadership potential, strong work ethic, and team-player attitude.
