Responsibilities or duties

• Perform scheduled maintenance, cleaning, and polishing of injection molds.
• Diagnose and repair mold damage (wear, corrosion, breakage) using machining and welding techniques.
• Set up and change over molds on injection molding machines as per production schedule.
• Conduct trial runs and make minor adjustments to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of mold maintenance, repairs, and production cycles.
• Fabricate simple mold components and spare parts as needed.
• Ensure all tools and molds are stored correctly and safely.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

FTC/Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience needed

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Mold Technician in a plastic injection molding environment.
