This vacancy is for the position of Ministry Country – Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Coordinator, based in Mwanza, Tanzania. This role focuses on leadership, program coordination, and spiritual mentorship within an OVC ministry context.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Ministry Oversight: Oversee and support OVC Ministry Centers while training and guiding ministry teams.
- Strategic Planning: Set and monitor performance goals, and participate in planning, budgeting, and curriculum development.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with the Country Office, government, education authorities, and community partners.
- Leadership: Lead meetings and ministry reviews, and support conflict resolution within teams.
- Specialized Support: Provide support for trauma and counseling activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet these criteria:
- Academic Background: A degree in Education, Social Work, Program Management, PR, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in program coordination and team leadership.
- Skills: Strong computer, administrative, communication, and organizational skills.
- Language: Fluency in English plus one local language.
- Spiritual Alignment: Must be a born-again, spiritually mature individual who is active in a Bible-believing church.
