MINING ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, & supervise mining operations to ensure safe & efficient production.
• Monitor mining activities & optimize extraction methods to maximize productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare mining plans, technical reports, & production schedules.
• Conduct site inspections & identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Coordinate with geologists, surveyors, & production teams to achieve mining targets.
• Analyze mining data & recommend cost-effective solutions to improve operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or a related fields.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role.
• Willing & flexible to travel or work outside Tanzania when required.
• Strong knowledge of mining operations, & mine planning.
• Good understanding of health, safety, & environmental (HSE) standards in mining.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
