Kilwa District Council is seeking to fill the position of MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY (Radiographer) II.

Responsibilities or duties

• Examining patients referred to their work area.
• Maintaining radiology machinery and equipment in their work area.
• Reviewing X-Ray images taken for quality and diagnostic quality.
• Keeping patients' images until results reach the doctors who referred the patients.
• Supervising subordinates; providing advice on matters and work of Radiology and Radiation in their work area.
• Preparing treatment/diagnostic equipment and supervising equipment sterilization in their work area.
• Providing initial training to staff assigned to work in their work area.
• Performing other duties as assigned by their superior related to their education, experience, and skills.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Holders of a Bachelor of Science in Radiology who are registered with the relevant professional councils.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
