QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a Government-recognized university, have completed internship, and be registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika.

Job application procedure
All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens, aged not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.
All applicants must attach a certified copy of their birth certificate, certified by a Lawyer/Advocate.
Applicants who are already employed in entry-level positions within the Public Service should not apply and are required to comply with the instructions contained in Circular No. CCA.45/257/01/D/140 dated 30 November 2010.
Applicants must attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) containing reliable postal and telephone addresses, together with the names and contact details of three reliable referees.
All applications must be accompanied by certified copies of academic and professional certificates, including Form IV and Form VI certificates for applicants who reached those levels, as well as certificates for various professional training relevant to the position applied for. Copies must be certified by a Lawyer/Advocate.
Testimonials, provisional results, and Form IV/Form VI results slips will NOT be accepted.
Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure that their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities, including TCU, NECTA and NACTE, as applicable.
Applicants who have retired from the Public Service are not eligible to apply, unless they have obtained permission from the Chief Secretary.
Applicants whose names differ on their academic/professional certificates, birth certificates and NIDA records must attach a DEED POLL (legal document for registration of a change of name).
Applicants whose names have differences in spelling between their National Identification Card and their academic, Form VI, Form IV or birth certificates must attach an AFFIDAVIT.
All applicants whose professions require a valid licence must attach copies of their relevant licences.
Applicants who submit forged information or qualifications will be subject to legal action.
