JOB DETAILS:

Kilwa District Council is seeking to fill 8 positions for Medical Officer Grade II.

Responsibilities or duties

I. Coordinating all work performed by Assistant Medical Officers.

II. Identifying and treating common diseases.

III. Supervising the performance of subordinates and performing minor surgeries.

IV. Participating in planning and implementing Primary Health Care Services; advising and encouraging citizens to contribute to Health Services through the Community Health Fund.

V. Keeping records of equipment and tools for service delivery; keeping records, preparing, and providing implementation reports.

VI. Performing other duties as assigned by their superior.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Form Four/Six graduates with a Diploma in Medicine from a Government-recognized institution.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: associate degree
