Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and manage patients with various medical conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans according to national clinical guidelines.
• Admit, review, and discharge patients as required.
• Perform emergency medical procedures and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
• Refer patients to specialists or higher-level facilities when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
• Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and emergency services.
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to professional ethics, hospital policies, and standards of medical practice.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Registered by the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT) with a valid practicing licence.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in medicine.
