JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary: The Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the company's fleet of heavy equipment and vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach stackers, trucks, terminal tractors).
- Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and manual inspections.
- Dismantle, repair, and replace defective parts and components.
- Perform routine services, including oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements.
- Complete detailed service reports and documentation for all work performed.
Qualifications & Experience: - High school diploma; certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair manuals.
