Background

Megark Solutions Ltd is a Tanzanian agribusiness company committed to improving agricultural productivity through quality agricultural products and innovative distribution solutions. The company has been appointed as the nationwide distributor of ASA Record Certified Sunflower Seed, supporting farmers with access to high-quality seed varieties that enhance crop production and food security.

As part of the launch of its sunflower seed distribution program, the company is recruiting qualified and motivated professionals to join its growing sales and marketing team.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Promoting and selling certified ASA Record sunflower seed to AMCOS, SACCOS, cooperative unions, agro-dealers, and farmers within the assigned region.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with agro-dealers, farmer groups, and local government agricultural officers, including Village Executive Officers (VEO), Ward Executive Officers (WEO), and Agricultural Field Officers (AFO).
• Achieving assigned sales targets while supporting farmer awareness and activation campaigns before the planting season.
• Supporting last-mile distribution and coordinating timely seed delivery throughout the assigned region.
• Collecting market intelligence and providing regular sales reports and activity updates to management.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• A Certificate in Marketing and Sales or another relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Relevant experience in sales, marketing, or agribusiness, which will be considered an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently within the assigned region.
• Residence in, or strong familiarity with, the region being applied for will be an added advantage.
