JOB DETAILS:

Nature and scope

The Marketing Officer reports to the Operational Manager and is responsible for managing all marketing activities related to members’ agricultural produce, including strategy development, market expansion, and value chain enhancement.

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with union objectives
• Identify and secure new local and international markets
• Coordinate sales, distribution, and promotional activities
• Conduct market research and provide market intelligence reports
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with buyers
• Promote value addition, branding, and quality standards
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and crop boards
• Monitor market trends, product performance, and customer feedback
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications, knowledge, and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Agro-Economics, or related field
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
