Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facility's buildings, equipment, and grounds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical systems are operational, coordinating maintenance schedules, and leading a team of technicians to provide a safe and fully functional environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Operations:
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians.
- Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
- Perform and oversee repairs of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Schedule and oversee routine preventive maintenance.
- Team Management:
- Assign and monitor work orders for the maintenance team.
- Train maintenance staff on procedures, safety, and equipment use.
- Vendor & Inventory Management:
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects.
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
- Ensure all maintenance supplies are stocked and orders are placed in a timely manner.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
- Reporting:
- Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Assist in preparing the maintenance budget and cost estimates.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building trades, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Experience in technical maintenance and repair work.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc in Engineering will be a plus.
