Job Purpose:

To install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and control panels in an industrial environment, ensuring minimal downtime and full compliance with safety codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment including motors (single/three-phase), drives, switchgear, lighting, and control circuits.
• Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, meggers, clamp meters, and schematic diagrams.
• Replace or repair faulty wiring, components, and control devices (PLCs, relays, sensors, contactors).
• Inspect and test emergency stop systems, grounding, and electrical safety devices.
• Assist in installing new machinery and modifying existing electrical layouts.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order records.
• Comply with lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), NFPA 70E, and local electrical codes.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering / Industrial Electricity.
• Valid electrician license (Journeyman or Master Electrician).

Experience:

• 3–6 years in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience with VFDs, soft starters, and control panels.

Competencies:

• Strong analytical and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Attention to safety and detail.
