Overview
Join our team and grow with us as our MFS Database Administrator. We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor or MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research, or another technical field, along with 2+ years of experience in database administration.
Core Responsibilities
- Create, configure, and manage database objects such as tables, indexes, and triggers.
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries to improve efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to safeguard data and ensure business continuity.
- Enforce security protocols, manage user access, and ensure policy compliance.
- Resolve database issues, provide technical support, and collaborate with development teams.
- Conduct routine tasks like reindexing, vacuuming, and upgrades.
- Work with developers and teams to align database solutions with business needs.
- Stay current with emerging database technologies and security best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of database systems, configurations, and procedures.
Core Competencies
- Strong understanding of database concepts, design principles, and management systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and other relevant database languages.
- Experience with database administration tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of operating systems like Linux, Windows, or Unix.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
