Role Purpose
- Overall accountability for managing agent queries and productivity.
- Support on-ground initiative execution in collaboration with Regional M-Pesa Leads, TMs, TDRs, and other stakeholders.
- Drive actionable commercial insights regarding performance and strategies across all channels.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
1. Manage Back Office and Super Agent Queries
Provide timely resolution and support for operational and service-related inquiries.
2. Support Trade Activities
Share daily operational reports and insights to ensure smooth execution of trade initiatives.
3. Collaborate with Regional M-Pesa Leads
Drive product and service implementation, offering execution support across regions.
4. Project Management
Oversee and deliver projects such as PPO, survival initiatives, and other Sales & Distribution (SnD) projects within defined timelines and standards.
5. Campaign Communication & Strategy
Coordinate communication, strategize execution plans, and provide feedback on ongoing campaigns to optimize performance.
6. Ensure Compliance
Monitor and enforce adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements for all SnD projects.
7. Regional Base Tracking & Reporting
Collaborate with the CVM team to track and report on regional performance metrics.
Core Competencies, Knowledge & Experience
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, applied to customer insights and reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to anticipate customer, competitor, and market dynamics.
- Capacity to challenge the status quo and drive innovative solutions.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1+ year of industry or functional experience.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Click, or other business insight tools.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the value chain.
- Mobile financial services experience is advantageous.
- Technical knowledge of data analytics and managing a large base of partners is a plus.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Drive productivity of M-Pesa Sales & Distribution teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of initiatives for execution and business support.
- Execute end-to-end sales initiatives effectively.
- Successfully implement assigned projects.
