Job Summary:

The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the entire logistics and supply chain operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods. This role involves strategy development, vendor management, and optimizing logistics processes to meet company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage and coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and logistics service providers.
• Monitor logistics performance metrics (KPIs) and prepare regular reports.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Oversee inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
• Lead and mentor the logistics team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Analyze logistical problems and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the transportation or freight industry.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, customs regulations, and fleet management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
