Mbali Mbali is a collection of five stunning lodges in Tanzania. Each location has been carefully selected for its unique experiences, across incredibly diverse ecological areas, taking you on a trail less traveled to some of Tanzania’s most untouched and unique National Parks. We looking to recruit experienced, qualified, and energetic candidates to join our team as a Lodge Manager with a broad knowledge of lodge management.
LODGE MANAGERS
Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with the reservation department on the client’s arrival and departure.
- Greeting and briefing clients with basic information about the Lodges, managing client services during their stay there and resolving any client complaints.
- To ensure all staff are motivated, have a high standard of work ethic, and follow the company procedures at all times.
- Inspect clients’ rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance.
- Oversee assigned duties of staff to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with the set rules.
- Coordinating back-of-house activities at the Lodge like maintenance and asset management.
- Managing the movement of staff according to company policy.
General Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the hospitality industry Previous experience working in lodges will be highly valued.
- Good English speaking, leadership skills, guest-oriented, strong communication skills
- Flexibility, reliability, and excellent leadership skills
- Positive attitude, and a hospitable service-oriented attitude
- Age between 35-45 years old
