Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Health, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Professional Registration: Must be registered with the relevant veterinary professional body in Tanzania (where applicable).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of livestock diseases, treatment protocols, and preventive healthcare.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work in rural farm conditions with minimal supervision.
• Skills: Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Values: High level of integrity, responsibility, and respect for animal welfare.

Experience needed

• Minimum of 2–5 years of practical experience in livestock health management (experience with cattle, goats, and sheep is preferred).
