IDEON LIMITED is urgently seeking a qualified and passionate Livelihood Contract Staff to support our ongoing regenerative agriculture, environmental conservation, and community empowerment initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional to work at the intersection of climate-smart agriculture, social behavior change, and Christian-based community development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise caregivers on permagarden and tree nursery techniques
- Monitor and evaluate project effectiveness and sustainability
- Facilitate the setup of permaculture infrastructure (e.g., composting, irrigation, greenhouses)
- Integrate agriculture with entrepreneurship, animal husbandry, and savings groups
- Prepare detailed implementation work plans, reports, and success stories
- Ensure all activities reflect Christ-like values and prioritize child protection
Qualifications:
- Degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Horticulture, or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in regenerative agriculture, SBCC, and community engagement
- Practical skills in tree nursery management, vegetable processing, and biopesticide production
- Strong knowledge of agroecology, water harvesting, and climate-smart practices
- Proven ability to work in rural settings with limited resources and low-literacy communities
- Fluent in English and Swahili
- Committed born-again Christian with a clean record and child protection awareness
- Willing to travel up to 80% of the time
