Responsibilities or duties
Applicants for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions should demonstrate:
- Ability to teach both undergraduate and postgraduate students effectively;
- Strong capacity to conduct academic and applied research;
- Proven ability to undertake consultancy and community engagement activities;
- Evidence of scholarly publications in recognized journals;
- Good communication, supervision, and presentation skills;
- ICT competence relevant to teaching, research, and academic administration;
- Leadership ability, professional integrity, and teamwork.
Applicants in Economics and Finance-related fields should additionally demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Applicants must possess Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees in Finance from recognized institutions, with consistent academic progression in the relevant field of specialization. Applicants should have attained a minimum GPA of 3.5 and 4.0 at Bachelor’s and Master’s degree levels, respectively.
Experience needed
In addition, evidence of university teaching experience, research publications, and consultancy involvement will constitute an added advantage
