Responsibilities or duties

Take the lead in coordinating the trial during preparation, implementation, and dissemination.

Align local and external stakeholders and collaborators to support successful study implementation and dissemination.

Qualifications or requirements

Medical degree and a good Master's degree in Epidemiology, Clinical Trials, Public Health, or a related field from a recognized university.

Experience needed

  • Experience coordinating cluster-randomised trials with a proven record of achieving recruitment targets and maintaining very high participant retention rates.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing and publishing scientific work, including at least four quantitative research articles resulting from a Master's degree or other scientific work.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting research findings to stakeholders and scientific platforms.

Desirable Qualifications/Attributes

  • At least four years of working experience in health or health research.
  • Licensed by the Tanganyika Medical Council to practice as a medical practitioner.
  • Demonstrated commitment to scientific excellence, work efficiency, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with investigators and stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and able to work under tight deadlines.
