Job Summary:
The school is seeking a dedicated and experienced, qualified and motivated Laboratory Technician to support the effective delivery of science education within our primary and secondary school. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing laboratory materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe laboratory practices for students and staff.

- Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials for science lessons and experiments.
- Assist science teachers during practical lessons when required.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all apparatus is clean, functional, and safely stored.
- Monitor and manage laboratory inventory, including ordering and organizing supplies.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards and procedures.
- Dispose of chemical waste and hazardous materials according to safety guidelines.
- Support the organization and preparation of practical examinations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology, Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a school or laboratory environment is an advantage.
- Good command of the English language (both written and spoken).
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and chemical handling.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
