As part of its continued growth in Tanzania, Axian Group is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Key Account Manager.
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for strategic account management, project coordination, customer relationship management, problem-solving, and revenue growth. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining long-term partnerships, and ensuring operational efficiency across managed accounts and projects within Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong long-term relationships with clients at both operational and executive levels.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to support revenue growth and market expansion.
- Leading contract negotiations and ensuring timely closure of commercial agreements and contract renewals.
- Coordinating with rollout, technical, legal, and operations teams to ensure timely site delivery and project implementation.
- Ensuring high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction across all managed sites and accounts.
- Supporting strategic account planning and business development initiatives.
- Monitoring client needs and proactively addressing operational or service-related challenges.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen customer engagement and business performance.
Qualification and Experience
Applicants must possess:
- A Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and Management, Commerce, Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Economics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- An MBA or professional commercial certifications will be considered an added advantage.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the Tanzania telecommunications ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of business administration laws, commercial operations, and administrative principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, customer relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple client accounts effectively.
