Job Overview

This role provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various engineering and technical disciplines within our organisation. You will work across different functions, including mechanical and electrical engineering, operations, quality assurance, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is resourceful, quick to learn, and eager to take on diverse responsibilities as needed within the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of technical equipment.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to minimize risks.
  • Ensure quality standards are met in production and operational processes.
  • Document maintenance activities, equipment modifications, and operational challenges.
  • Develop process improvements using engineering principles and software tools.
  • Conduct material planning and coordinate with the procurement team for resource allocation.
  • Contribute to sustainable engineering initiatives that are environmentally friendly and safe.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, QA/QC, or a STEM-related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • High commitment to safety, quality, and process improvement.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
  • Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adapt to different engineering, technical, and operational roles.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili.
