The company is currently inviting qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Junior Instrumentation Engineer based in Bagamoyo. Responsibilities
The Junior Instrumentation Engineer will support senior engineers in the design, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems and instrumentation equipment used within the company’s industrial operations. The role involves ensuring the accuracy and reliability of instruments, supporting engineering projects, and maintaining proper operational documentation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assisting senior engineers in designing, developing, and testing control systems and engineering equipment
- Performing periodic calibration of instruments and devices to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Analyzing operational and technical data and preparing written engineering reports
- Maintaining documentation, reports, and engineering records for ongoing activities
- Participating in troubleshooting and diagnosis of control system problems and equipment faults
- Supporting administrative activities including manpower coordination and material management
- Performing any other duties assigned by management
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in instrumentation and engineering systems with the ability to support industrial operations effectively. Applicants are expected to demonstrate analytical skills, technical competence, and the ability to work collaboratively within an engineering environment.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant working experience in instrumentation or industrial engineering operations
- Knowledge of control systems, instrumentation devices, and calibration procedures
- Ability to analyze technical data and prepare engineering reports
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain engineering documentation and operational records effectively
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
