Position Overview:

The Inventory & Asset Management Coordinator will ensure the end-to-end management of inventory and physical assets, including, tracking, maintenance, and disposal. This role is pivotal in supporting our rapid growth, ensuring inventory and assets are available, well-maintained, and utilized effectively to maximize project success and operational uptime.

Roles and Responsibilities

Inventory Strategy & Optimization:

  • Develop and implement scalable inventory management policies suited for fast growth.
  • Forecast inventory needs based on project pipelines, demand fluctuations, and supply chain insights.
  • Manage stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock to prevent shortages or excess.
  • Oversee Inventory & asset movement between departments or sites and update records accordingly.
  • Optimize inventory and asset management systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Asset Lifecycle & Maintenance:

  • Maintain accurate asset registers, including serial numbers, warranties, and maintenance history.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to optimize asset performance and lifespan.
  • Develop and implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for inventory and asset handling.

Supply Chain & Vendor Relations:

  • Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of Inventories/equipment.
  • Ensures 3rd Party WH & Logistics cleans, organizes, and maintains warehouses assuring that all inventories are stored securely and neatly placed throughout the warehouse.

Data Analytics & KPIs:

  • Utilize data to monitor inventory accuracy, turnover rates, asset utilization, and downtime.
  • Develop reports to inform decision-making at leadership levels.
  • Supports procurement coordinator, operations and project management personnel with knowledge of inventory shipping trends and timely inventory order requisitions

Process Development & Automation:

  • Collaborate with Software teams to Design and implement scalable, automated inventory and asset management systems.
  • Continuously improve processes to support rapid expansion and operational efficiency.
  • Transfers inventory shipments via Jaza Dashboard
  • Logs inventory receipts via Jaza Dashboard

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Identify risks related to inventory shortages, asset failure, or supply chain disruptions and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies.

KPIs:

  • Sites and scale: Inventory accuracy ≥ 98%
  • Power people: Inventory SOP compliance ≥ 85%
  • Jaza lab: ≥ 20% reduction in inventory variance or loss
