JOB DETAILS:

INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER – 1 POSITION

Mbinga Town Council is seeking to fill the position of Information and Communication Technology Officer.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

i. Application letters must be accompanied by the applicant's recent Curriculum Vitae with a valid address, phone number, and names of three recognizable referees.

ii. Applicants must attach certified copies of certificates verified by a Government Attorney as shown for the position applied for, for example:

• Diploma in Information and Communication Technology from any government-recognized institution.

iii. The Office will provide allowance entitlements.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

i. The applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen aged not more than 45 years and not less than 18 years, and must not have been previously employed in any public institution.

ii. The applicant must attach certified copies of certificates verified by a Government Attorney as shown for the position applied for, for example:

• Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV or Form VI)
• Birth Certificate
• National Identification Card/ID Number
• Two (2) small passport-size color photographs

iii. Provisional results (provisional/testimonials/statement of results) will not be accepted.

iv. The applicant must possess the qualifications and experience stated in this job announcement.

v. Applicants who submit forged applications and certificates will face legal action.

vi. The application letter must be written in Kiswahili or English.

vii. All applications should be sent by Post or submitted to the Director's open registry office.

viii. The deadline for receiving application letters is 26/08/2026 at 9:30 PM.
