JOB DETAILS:
Information Communication And Technology (Ict) Officer

Duties and Responsibilities
• Understand latest application architecture, technology, solutions, and industry trends;
• Identify and scope the applicative opportunities and identify risks and constraints. Decompose the opportunities into constituent application solutions;
• Document applications and create application architecture proposals based on identified solution gaps Provide support(including go-Live)and maintenance of existing business systems, reengineering of existing business applications, user documentation on new and existing applications and end user training and support on new and existing applications;
• Manage structural systems analysis and design; build test cases to assist in system-to-system tests and performance benchmarks for all production releases;
• Map MHCL's Business Units terminology with Business Applications in terms of people, process  and application development technology:
• Ensure that solutions leveraging third-party technology complement MHCL's strategy and develop  breadth skills across application technology areas relevant to MHCL business areas;
• Configures appropriate application servers based installed application program;
• Develop installation and upgrade guidelines as well as computer systems configurations;
• Support system users for effective utilization of deployed systems;
• Assist in Troubleshooting and resolving routine software applications problems; and
• Perform any other lawful duties as may be assigned by the superior.

Key knowledge Experience and skills Required
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, information Technology or Computer Engineering;
• A minimum of four (A) years 'relevant working experience in software design and development with proof forthe systems developed;
• Knowledge in Business & System Analysis, Process Mapping and System Design process;
• Knowledge of programming languages, database management systems, desktop or web programming;
• Experience in working with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and Oracle Database;
• Capable of doing software developments using Object Oriented Programming methods, PHP, Java and Jscript, python;
• Ability to work with at least one development framework and quick learning ability for related new technologies - good knowledge of several programming languages (web, mobile and desktop applications);

General Condition
All applicants should have accomplished Secondary School Education and possess an Ordinary Certificate or an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education and should not be above 45 years of age.
