The IT Project Manager at Access Bank PLC is responsible for leading and managing IT projects from inception to completion. This role involves the planning, execution, and delivery of projects that enhance the bank's technology infrastructure and support its strategic objectives. The IT Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  2. Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget management.
  3. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
  4. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  5. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, challenges, and achievements.
  6. Ensure all project documentation is completed and maintained accurately.
  7. Conduct post-project evaluations to assess completion against objectives and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

2. 5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.

3. Proven experience with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

4. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.

5. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

6. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
