Job Purpose:

To provide technical support, maintain ICT infrastructure, and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems and networks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
  • Perform routine system backups and data recovery operations.
  • Manage user accounts, emails, and access permissions.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on computers and servers.
  • Maintain an inventory of ICT assets and software licenses.
  • Train staff on basic ICT usage and cybersecurity awareness.
  • Ensure network security and antivirus updates are up to date.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (CompTIA A+, N+, CCNA) are an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in ICT support.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers and networking.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication and training skills.
