Job Title: ICT Teacher (Upper Secondary – Cambridge/National Curriculum)

Reports to: Head of Science/ICT Department

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver ICT lessons covering programming (Python/Java basics), databases, networking, HTML/CSS, and digital ethics.
• Prepare students for IGCSE, AS/A Level, or national upper secondary ICT examinations.
• Manage computer lab, ensure software updates, and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Assign practical projects (e.g., website creation, spreadsheet modeling, simple app development).
• Assess theory and practical work through mock exams and portfolios.
• Promote responsible internet use and cybersecurity awareness.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or ICT Education.
• Teaching certification.
• Minimum 2–3 years teaching ICT at upper secondary level.
• Familiarity with Cambridge ICT syllabus or equivalent.

Key Competencies:

• Proficiency in programming and office applications.
• Ability to explain technical concepts simply.
• Lab safety and classroom management.
